Glowing skin in summer is a season where you can enjoy the outdoors without any discomfort. At the same tines, this is one season where your skin can face multiple problems. This weather is harsh and can make your skin dull and rough and also can cause the pores to be clogged with dirt and sweat. To keep your skin healthy it is important to give it its due importance.

Here are some tips to help you deal with the summer heat.

  1. Stay well Hydrated:

Ensure you consume a lot of water to ensure that your skin is well hydrated. This helps in flushing out the different toxins and all the impurities and helps the skin look and feel clean and fresh.

  1. Protection from the Sun:

Keep yourself well covered from the top to the toes. This protects your skin from the harsh sunlight and the damaging UV rays. It is important to ensure you wear cotton light clothes which allow your skin to breathe.

  1. Sunscreen is Essential:

Sunscreen is absolutely important during this season. You need to apply this not only on your face but even the hands or legs if they are exposed. Choose a sunscreen in accordance to your skin type. You need to be aware that excessive sunlight can damage your skin and cause wrinkles.

  1. Exercising Regularly:

A regular routine needs to include some type of work out as this can help you sweat and unclog the pores and purge the toxins,. This means, your skin gets clean with regular exercise. This also helps in circulation of blood.

  1. Exfoliating the Skin:

Exfoliation is a ‘must’ for removing the dead cells and the grime and dirt from your skin. This exfoliation done regularly reveals rejuvenated and fresh skin.

  1. Consume a Balanced Diet:

Include a lot of vegetables and fruits in your daily meals as these can provide you with the required minerals, vitamins and other nutrients. Concentrate more on liquid diet and salads so that the digestion is not hampered with.

  1. Sleep Enough:

You need to get that 8 hours of quality sleep during this hot season. This is the tie when your body repairs itself. All those late night parties need to be avoided as this can lead to dark circles and puffy eyes.

Using Natural Products for the Skin:

It is advisable to use natural products for cleansing and exfoliating your skin. You can use papaya for the exfoliation as this removes the dead cells and ensures a fr4eshness to your skin. Cleansing of the skin can be done with the help of 1 tablespoon of buttermilk, 6 to 8 soaked almonds and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.

Moisturizing can be done with 3 to 4 tablespoons of coconut oil mixed with ½ a teaspoon of Vitamin E oil along with 6 drops of lavender oil. This mixture used is a better option as compared to the moisturizers available in the market.

A little effort taken can ensure a glowing and fresh skin whatever the season might be.
