Sirsasana:
This is the headstand-yoga position which can help in the growth of hair as this position increases the flow of blood to your scalp. This can also help in relieving the stress.
How to do Sirsasana:
If you are performing this yoga for the first time, it is advisable to take the support of a wall as this tends to put a lot of pressure on the neck, core and shoulders.
Lie on your hands and knees, on all fours. Let your forearms be in touch with the floor by leaning forward. Put your head down slowly so that this touches the ground. Try lifting your legs so that you can assume a vertical position. If this is not easy initially, you can try it with one leg only. You need to be in that specific position for a few seconds or even a few minutes, whichever is comfortable.
Sarvangasana:
Sarvangasana, also known as the shoulder stand pose, is important for the stimulation of the glands in your body. This position in yoga helps in sending volume of blood to the scalp and rejuvenates the follicles of the hair. As this yoga pose also increases the flow of blood to the parathyroid and thyroid glands, the secretion of hormones is well balanced.
How to do sarvangasana:
Stand straight with the spine erect. Feel the calmness around you by taking deep breaths. Take a step to the right and bend forward slowly ensuring that your spine is straight. Hold the ankles with your hands. This can be done for a few seconds initially and gradually you can increase this.
Balayam Yoga:
This finger nail yoga is one of the easiest yoga you can do for the health of your hair.
How to do Balayama Yoga:
Put hands together so that the palms are facing each other. Bend fingers so that the nails can contact the nails from the finger which is opposite. You need to whisker your nails against each other while maintaining the contact. This can be done two to three times in a day.
